Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by our representative having a placard displaying your name and transferred to the hotel in Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
04 Oct 23:
Delhi – Mandawa Drive (285 KMS / 6 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed to Shekhawati region well known for the beautiful houses with fresco paintings, and rightly called the open art gallery of northern Rajasthan. Mandawa was a trading outpost for ancient caravan routes that stopped here from China and the middle East. Upon arrival check into the hotel and later in evening stroll around the local town and visit the beautiful mansions painted with fresco. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandawa.
Options: If you don’t get much time in evening or you feel like to have some rest in evening, in that case you can visit these fresco painted mansions on next day morning before leaving for Bikaner.
05 Oct 23: Mandawa – Bikaner Drive (190 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast Drive to Bikaner. Bikaner is situated in the northern region of Rajasthan. One of the earlier established cities, Bikaner still displays its ancient opulence through palaces and forts, built of red sandstone, that have withstood the passage of time. The city boasts of some of the world’s best riding camels and is aptly nicknamed ‘camel country’. It is also home to one of the world’s largest camel research and breeding farms; as well as being known for having its own unique temple dedicated to Karni Mata at Deshnok, called the Rats Temple.
After lunch at local restaurant we can go to visit The Karni Mata Mandir in Bikaner is popular not for its location or architecture, but for being home to over 25,000 rats that inhabit and freely meander around the temple complex. Overnight stay at hotel in Bikaner.
06 Oct 23: Bikaner Sightseeing
Morning breakfast at hotel and later visit Junagarh Fort of Bikaner. The very unusual character of this fort as compared to the forts in Rajasthan it is built on the plain desert whereas all other forts in Rajasthan are on hilltops. The palace complex has decorated interiors which are perhaps the best preserved in the country. Later in afternoon You can also visit the only camel breeding center of Asia, which is quite an interesting place. Overnight stay at hotel in Bikaner.
07 Oct 23: Bikaner - Jaisalmer Drive (310 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. This city was founded in 12th century by Raja Jaisa Singh. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading centre and a princely state in western Rajasthan, in the heart of Thar desert. This city is also known as “Golden City” due to yellow stone architecture all around the town. Arrive at Jaisalmer and check in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure . Overnight stay in the hotel at Jaisalmer.
08 Oct 23: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast visit the city. Walk up to the Jaisalmer fort, through the narrows streets dotted with temples & havelis. Visit the Golden Fort (living fort) where still hundreds of families are living, visit the Gadisar Lake, large houses of the merchants called Havelies some of them dating to the Pre-medieval period. Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Shah Haveli and Nathamal Ki Haveli with their intricately carved screens on the facades and the typical traditional architecture.
In evening proceed to the Sam Dunes to enjoy camel safari. Rajastani evening At Sam Dunes - a typical Rajasthani village is created for this evening, mud walls gaily painted with an entrance, food stalls are built with thatched roofs where Rajasthani woman cook local food in traditional earthenware pots. Continental and Muglai food is also served. You will be entertained with Rajastahani Folk music and Dance. Overnight stay in Desert glamping camps.
09 Oct 23: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur Drive(290 Kms/ 5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur, Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is also well known as Blu city of Rajasthan. It still fulfils its historic role as the area’s main trading center for wood, cattle, camels, cotton, salt, and agricultural crops. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure or stroll around the local bazaar. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.
10 Oct 23: Jodhpur Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a steep hill - Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. To enter the Mehrangarh fort, seven gates have to be crossed. Some of these gates still bear marks of many a siege that this fort has withstood. The Old city is surrounded by a huge nine and a half Kilometer long wall which has seven gates. Some of the houses and temples are of richly carved stone, in particular the buildings near the Sadar Bazar. You can also visit Umed bhawan palace museum and Mandore garden. Afternoon free for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.
11 Oct 23: Jodhpur – Jaipur Drive(335 Kms/ 6 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed to Jaipur. Jaipur is a fascinating Indian city known as pink city as the historic centre of Jaipur is painted terracotta pink colour and there is even a local law that instructs that all the buildings within Jaipur be painted the distinctive pink. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
12 Oct 23: Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning breakfast at your hotel and later on proceed to Amber fort. Visit the Amber fort and later return back to Jaipur city for sightseeing of other prominent monuments. Visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Also visit Jantar Mantar, a royal observatory with masonry astronomical instruments.
Post lunch we can visit the block printing work done by the local Chippa community. Jaipur, other than its beauty and traditional culture is also famous for Block Printing Art, which has been done here since 500 years. Hand block printing is one of the ancient art in India and Jaipur does have thousands of people directly engaged in this profession since centuries.
The block printing art is done by following a beautiful process where the required designs are carved on the blocks and natural dyes are used for printing on fabrics. In the afternoon you can visit the famous rug factory and gem factory, where you can see skilled artisans doing intricate work of gem cutting and polishing. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
13 Oct 23: Jaipur – Delhi Drive (260 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Delhi. We can have a stop for lunch on the way to Delhi. Upon arrival your bus will drop off you at the international airport to catch flight to your further destination.
